The local secret watering hole shown in the documentary as the often used rendezvous location for Ashley Paige in her stressful moments between shows and reassuring meetings with her publicist Marilyn Heston, of MHA Media. Generously sponsored by the avant-garde NY fashion magazine Zink and Von Zipper Sunglasses, along with beverages sponsored by Stella Artois and Heradura Tequila, DJ musical sounds provided by Big Daddy, carlos adley the owner of Velvet Margarita.
Celebrities & Top Designers attended the screening & after party include: haute couture celebrity designer Louis Verdad, Celebrity Makeup Artist Sharon Gault, Ashley Paige & top model Jeanene Fox, among others.
The 90-minute documentary feature captures the true reality behind the cut-throat and not-so-glamorous as it looks world of fashion as seen through the eyes of Paige, and her associates in the weeks leading up to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, LA at Smashbox Studios. The theme of her runways show is “Redneck Riviera” southern style. Set against a backcloth of itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny knitted and crocheted swimwear designs and young nubile models ranging from 13 – 21 years old we see interwoven moments of true honesty and drama mixed with informative narrative and highlights of deadpan comedy provided by Ashley’s ever present good friend Brett.
Altogether, bringing about a highly entertaining and marketable piece for international sales and distribution currently in negotiation. Produced and Directed by Jane S. Linter, the film was well received. The documentary closes with the young gorgeous models finally strutting their stuff in true Southern Style with their Dolly Parton hairdos, Von Zipper Sunglasses and vintage cowboy boots, courtesy of Photogenics, Next, Warning, Elite, LA Models, Champagne Trott.
